May 10- 14
Tuesday, May 11th was my last day to work in the office. I worked with my supervisor Megan to tie any loose ends for the Big 12 Softball tournament this weekend. We confirmed that the port potties would be at the fields on time lol. As well as the florists and the confimring hotel arrangements.
When we host events we take care of all aspects of the event. My supervisor like to say that we do everything form Press Conference to Port Potties. lol.
Although this is my last week in the office, I will still be working closely with OKC All-Sports through the beginning of June to work all of the upcoming sporting events.
I have truly enjoyed my time and experience with OKC All-Sports and I'm leaving with the confidence to walk into another internship with a sports organization and feel ready and skilled enough to perform greatly.

Week 10
Mar. 22-26
This week was back to Softball after a weekend full of NCAA Basketball. We were really busy on Big 12 Softball coming up the weekend after finals and Big 12 Baseball as well. I worked in InDesign on creating tickets and passes for the Big 12 Baseball Tournament. Oklahoma City is known as the home of the Big 12 Baseball Championships and so this event is pretty BIG for our company. Everything has to be on point and in order so we are hard at work right now.

Week 9
NCAA Men's Basketball: 1st & 2nd Rounds
During Spring Break I was given the opportunity to work the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship Tournament for the 1st and 2nd rounds. I worked under the supervision of the Big 12 and the tournament was held at the Ford Center.
It was a very tiring weekend and although the games were only on Thursday and Saturday, we worked Wed.-Sat. to make sure things stayed in order. We were able to sit in on press conferences, and sit right behind the team benches at the media tables.
My duty was to run statistics to the media at the press tables on the courtside. It was an amazing experience and I learned a lot about what goes into running a media room during a basketball game or event. There was A LOT to learn and I am positive I still do not know everything there is to know.
We worked LONG hours and we're completely exhausted by the end of the days. I made up for a lot of time this past weekend!
Wed.- 12 hours
Thurs.- 15 hours
Fri.- 5 hours
Sat.- 9 hours
Total hours worked: 41 hours!! ahhhhh!!!!

Week 6 Annual Board Meeting & Cross Country
Feb. 22-27
On Tuesday I ran credit cards all day for tickets for the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, Big 12 Softball and NCAA Women's College World Series.
Thursday I teamed up with my fellow intern Casey and work on odd end projects to get things organized for the OK All Sports annual board meeting that Friday. We were really busy.
Friday I drove out to our annual board meetin in edmond at The Oklahoman Building. I met more of our board members and learned a lot more about All Sports than I had ever known. It was a great meeting and the theme was "Let's Build Sports Together" and we all dressed up as construction workers with flannels and cargos, boots and hard hats. It was really fun, I enjoy working here!!
Saturday I worked the Sooner State Games Cross Country meet to make up for missing the Trail run a few weeks ago. I was really neat to see young kids run so far and to really be excited about their sport.
